Here is the news of our chiliean family (emails), after the earthquake of wednesday 13th november,
alot of us in europe were very worry as it happened exactly where they live, in the north of chili,
any way now all is alright even if there was alot of damage...

Dear Triune:
Thanks for your interest. We did not suffer any damage, thanks God. We were very afraid because the movement was very long and very hard. Carlos and Margarita are OK, but Margarita`s working place in Maria Elena had some damage with no human injuries. My sister and family are also OK.
The same day we travelled to Santiago and returned yesterday, that is the reason because I am now answering. I did now revised my mail before.
Please tell all the family these news.

We all are fine. It was a big earthquake but we had no trouble.
Margaritas work place had some problems, but
is OK.

Hi Dear Triune! How are you?
Carlos told me that you put some news about the earthquake in your blog.
I am sending you some pictures from Maria Elena, the town where I work.
The earthquake was terrible, so hard, a person was squashed, but he is OK now . In Tocopilla were two dead people.
My Workplace suffered some damages, but is OK.
The people from MAria ELena and Tocopilla was very affected, too much people lost everything, they dont´t have any place to leave, is very sad.
But we are OK thanks God.
The pictures are from MAria Elena town, the houses looks very well outside, but inside are broken and is very dangerous to stay there.

Here are a few photos of Carlos (our chiliean cousin) and his lovely wife Margarita
As most of you know they have come to europe in septembre, and thanks to his Mother : Teresita we got in conact...
(Teresita is the step-sister of "Amama":Teresa who was 11 years younger than my great grand mother.
Amama and Teresa had the same father:Màximilio Venegas, but different mothers.)Fistly on a trip for his work (doctor) Carlos had planned to visit europe (madrid; paris; Venise) with Margarita...
Teresita and i had already been in contact by mail when she told me that her son was in europe !!! she put the two of us in contact and i gave Carlos a fez adresses of the family ...
They finally ended up visiting nearly every one: First Pascal and sandrine in paris, then before going to Italy; they hopped over to Alsace to see anita, wolfgang, françoise and all...
Then just after their tour in italy they came to see the toulouse part of the familiy !!!
What an adventure...

Carlos, Margarita and i at a superbe vegetarian restaurent i took them to !!
After a little walk around the town, they came to mine and thomas's flat
Tao met us there, and off we were to go and visit Isabelles little family
An excellent meal...
a really lovely evening ... too short.. but we learnt a lot... of course in no time there we were; getting our geanologic tree's out... trying to understand where we were...
Next morning.. early ... i took Carlos and margarita to visit the airbus company !!! as carlos has a passion for planes (he does piloting as a hobby)
In all, three wondefull days getting to know a part of our selves coming from the end of the world..

C'est ce samedi de Pâques que Myriam, Tao et moi nous nous décidons de nous y rendre pour manger... 
Mais quel charmant serveur !!! ... 
Pliage des serviettes, LOTUS spécialité de Melki... 
Le repas peut commencer...Quel spectacle !!!
Melki, une Bavaroise aux fraise (délicieuse) et son collègue en cuisine Dominique... 
Mr et Mme les patrons en cuisine ... 
Wow !!! le repas aura duré prés de quatre heures !!!!
